i made face.

i made face

I love discovering new apps. I stumbled upon this app called i made face.  It’s so fun to make a cartoon version of yourself.  This iphone app allows you to create cartoon style faces of you and anyone else you want to create. You can choose hairstyle, nose, eyes, lips, ears, mustaches for dudes, and background color.  It’s a little addicting. I asked a few friends to create their own cartoon version of themselves and I had a little fun creating cartoon versions for others. Here is a glimpse…

Friday Eve Sparkles

We heart Warby Parker!  My friend {Chelsea} ordered her Warby Parker trials this week and is debating between the NASH and the CHAMBERLAINS. Both look fantastic, but I think I’m leaning more towards the Chamberlains for her. In the middle of the day, we decided to take an impromptu photo shoot. Yes, that selfie stick is coming in handy. My motto: Never apologize for selfies. Help her decide, here is a glimpse…

What is your Spirit Animal?

Animal Face

I recently discovered this mobile app called Animal Face. I’m so obsessed with this app I’m turning all my friends into animals with my personal photo collection.  I absolutely love it! Who wouldn’t want to put animal heads on their peeps?  You should definitely try it and show off your wild side. The filters are very easy and pretty much match the popular filters of Instagram.

Here is a glimpse of my photos made with Animal Faces

Same Love // photoshoot

Same Love // photo shoot

Last Saturday, I had a photo shoot for my dear friends {Peter + Shun-Pin}.  They are a wonderful couple who compliment each other and you definitely can see the LOVE. They will be leaving Seattle next month and I will miss them dearly.  Here is a glimpse of some of my favorite shots (and I pretty much loved them all) from the photo shoot…

Office Space

What the Tech? Scrappy is the new Black!

Thursdays. I love Thursdays or what I call Friday Eve.  After work I went on a tour of SeaTech Connect with others from my firm. It was an office pub crawl of Seattle’s techy chic companies in downtown. The office crawl featured the following companies:  POP, Banyan Branch, Wexley School for Girls, Admosis/The Makers Space, HasOffers, and POSSIBLE. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see all the spaces, but was fascinated with the work environments I did see.
Here is a glimpse…

Wexley School for Girls

No it’s not a charm and etiquette school for little school girls. The name is misleading and you get the hint of  playful. The Wexley School for Girls is an AD Agency. At Wexley you will see a Liberace piano room, a Chinese restaurant Entry with Peking rubber ducks at the window, a camper meeting space, and a scrappy campy/mini golf feel to the rest of the space. I love the “let’s not take things so seriously” work environment.

Admosis/The Makers Space

The Makers Space features a 6,600 SF coworking space. The Makers space embraces the open concept with natural light filtering into the space. The office space features refurbished elements from bleacher floors, gym floor desks, and make filing cabinets look hipster cool. Makers welcomes all businesses that share the same work philosophy where technology allows people to work anywhere where people can share the work synergy by sharing the same work space.

POSSIBLE

Possible is another top Seattle AD Agency.  The office space is a mix of Modern and eclectic.  The space features an all white conference room called The Situation.  It’s a mix of new and old with old vintage furniture, but painted with a pop of color – modern mint green and modern coral/pink.  I love the exposed brick and high ceilings.
