Happy Friday! Lately I’ve added a new type of Graphic Design to my portfolio. I partnered with a new company headquartered in Boston and they specialize in menu design for restaurant re-branding. I worked with them to design a series of various menu types. One of them was for a Mexican restaurant – Sol Mexican. The inspiration came from Cantina type graphics and the idea was to keep the color palette minimal but to really play with Typography and allow for the design of the text to pop and me the star of the show. I loved working on this project. The menu format was a traditional 8 1/2 x 11 flip menu book. I didn’t design the logo so I’m not showing the cover. Here is a glimpse of the Sol Mexican menu…
