Earlier this month, Pantone announced the Color of the Year for 2016. 2016 is a special year because two colors were announced – Rose Quartz {13-1520} and Serenity {15-3919}. Pantone explained that the combination echoed a growing trend of challenging traditional perceptions about color association in fashion, art, interior and all types avenues of design. The colors bring a sense of calm and relaxation which seems to be the overall tone for 2016. Pantone started the Color of the year in 2000. I was on Instagram today and The Zoe Report {@thezoereport} posted an image of a NYC pop-up shop featuring illustrator Donald Robertson.  I love discovering new art and love Robertson’s style of mixing color + fashion.  His art has a playful sense of humor that I adore.  I personally want to own his Jackie Oh!
