This is the craziest thing and a very true story. For today’s Music Monday, I was thinking Beastie Boys. This legendary American Hip Hop band from New York City really needs no introduction. I was thinking it’s been over a year since band member Adam Yauch passed away. What is crazy is that his birthday is today – August 5. I had no idea it was his birthday until this very moment. How odd and eerie. I love so many songs that I couldn’t pick my favorite. Today I choose Brass Monkey. Listen and it will bring back memories. RIP MCA.
