Friday Eve (Thursday), my favorite day. In Seattle Thursdays are really Fridays. Everyone in Seattle was out tonight. I spent my Friday eve with 2 very special ladies {Beverly} + {Monique}. It’s definitely a treat to see them. Our grown up lives are so busy, we take any time we can get. We attempted to go to either Joule or The Whale Wins but neither one was happening for us tonight; they were just way too popular. We decided to spend our night in Ballard. I heart Ballard. All the restaurants are amazing with such Seattle character. Bricks and chalkboard are definitely a recurring theme on Ballard Ave. We ended up dining out one of our favorite sushi restaurants Shiku, an oldie but goodie. Our night ended at the happening sweet spot – Hot Cakes. Yum. I do admit, I like to take the pictures more than be in them. Here is a glimpse of our night, both posed and true candids….
