Skirts Ahoy

Yesterday was the perfect day for a night boat cruise.  I remember a year ago around this time, designers at my firm gathered together for a happy hour cruise around Seattle’s Lake Union. {See blog post 7 Knots} My favorite furniture/fabric rep and personal friend Esther Du Graf invited designers from my firm for a dinner and drinks cruise hosted by herself, husband William and beautiful daughter Isabella. It was absolutely amazing – a perfect Summer night!  We boarded the ESTHER WILLIAMS {a combination of her name and her husbands name + nod to famous American actress and swimmer Esther Williams of the 1950’s}. Their yacht is absolutely stunning – a 1956 fifty-four foot Chris Craft – so classic and beautiful. Here is a glimpse of our summer night…
