Product Runway

PRODUCT RUNWAY. We’ve all seen the show, Project Runway, or at least have heard of it, and that show has inspired this Seattle fashion event. This event blends fashion and interior design. The Interior Coalition of Washington (IDCW) presents PRODUCT RUNWAY, where designers and architects flaunt their creativity and technical skills by producing couture fashion constructed out of interior finish materials. It’s part runway fashion show, part theatrical production and part indulgence.

On May 3rd, designers (not professional models) will walk the runway and showcase the couture fashion of the local Seattle design firms at the Showbox (SODO).  Each year, I do both the visual show and all the graphics.  For previous years, please visit my portfolio. I’m really excited to see all the dresses and most importantly cheer on my friend Sara who will be representing my design firm.   There will definitely be a post PRODUCT RUNWAY blog to feature Sara. I’ve been involved in 4 fashion shows since it pioneered in 2008. It’s always an amazing show.  This year’s theme can described as twisted fashion fairy tale or fashion surreality. A little sweet, a little avant-garde, maybe a little off, but very fashionable.  Here is a glimpse of some of the graphics from the show…
