graphics // six three zero

Hello and Happy Tuesday.  six three zero is bike company in California. They had contacted me to design their Brand + Style Guide.  I honestly love doing this type of work.  This guide documents the brand through a set of guidelines and rules that support their identity. It’s the voice and personality of a company in visual form and addresses how the brand is represented and communicated through social media, advertising and design.  This was a great project to work on.  You must check out their bikes. Their mission is to ‘make people’s lives better…one bike at a time’.  Here is a glimpse of the six three zero brand + style guide…

No Pants Subway Ride 2017

On Sunday, January 8th, the annual No Pants Subway ride occurred. This is an annual tradition that many big cities, like New York, London, and Toronto, participate in every year. About 31 cities worldwide, participate each year. It was created by Improv Everywhere’s – Charlie Todd. In 2002, he produced the first even and posted to YouTube. The short clip gained popularity. It’s always held during winter time. Imagine New Yorkers all bundled up in their winter gear sans pants. Here is a glimpse of photos from around the world participating in No Pants Subway Ride Day…

Golden Globes // red carpet

The big winner of the night…LaLa Land. I loved that movie. My friend {Kara} and I were giddy seeing that movie over the holidays. I love watching the Golden Globes especially the red carpet. Like I always say, the red carpet is like girl sports.  This awards show kicked off awards season and Jimmy Fallon’s opener was wonderful. Here were my favorite dresses of the night…

Emma Stone // Valentino

Rachel Evan Wood // Custom Altuzarra

Michelle Williams // Louis Vuitton

Felicity Jones // Gucci

Mandy Moore // Naeem Khan

Lily Collins // Zuhair Murad Couture

Drew Barrymore // Monique Lhuillier

Emily Ratajkowski // Reem Acra

graphics // social lashes

Social Lashes. My first project I wrapped up for 2017.  I was lucky to partner with a lash boutique – Social Lashes.  The need was for a modern graphic look book that showcases the 5 lash styles – Socialite, Bold, Fearless, Daring and Sassy.  I loved working on this project – Beauty and Graphics – two of my favorite things.  The result was an all black and white look book that showcased a mix of typography both with a fashion feel and bold handwritten statements and also mixed with casual beauty editorial photography.  Here is a glimpse…

Hello and Happy Monday. I’ve been working on so many amazing projects. I just wrapped up 5 menu designs and wanted to share the Mama Maria Brunch Menu with you.  A few weeks ago, I shared the Sol Mexican menu.  For this menu, I wanted more of a rustic modern feel and incorporate illustration into the design. The logo was provided so I didn’t want the other elements of the design to compete and take away from the logo.  These menus have been so fun to design.  I love playing with typography and mixing it up with the illustrations. I provided two background options to the client. You can decided which one you like best. Here is a glimpse…
