I’ve been secretly pinning gallery wall inspiration. Lately, I’ve been revamping my apartment and slowly creating a gallery art wall above my bed. Honestly, curating is a little tricky because you are limited with space and images and you have to create a hierarchy in terms of various sizes. What I’m finding is – display what I love and mix it up. When I’m finished, I’ll share my own little art gallery with you. Until then, here is glimpse of some images I pinned to my “art gallery wall” board…
1966 fashion
Hello and happy Sunday sparkles. It’s going to take me a moment to get used to saying “2016”. I wanted to take a look at fashion 50 years ago – 1966. Surprisingly, we see this year’s Pantone color (Rose Quartz) in 60’s fashion. In 1966 fashion was all about the non-existent waistline and more box like, hemlines above the knee, the military look and mod fashion. Here is a glimpse of the fashion trends of 1966…
Happy New Year!
2015 // Top Blog Posts
Hello. Happy New Year’s Eve Eve. I love my eves! We are about to say good-bye to 2015. 2015 year was an interesting year for me. The highs would be my fabulous Europe trip with my family, getting out my comfort zone and doing what I really love to do, and all my friendships this year – both new and old. My personal theme this year was “things happen for a reason”. However, I sent out many positive affirmations into the universe and I do believe “it” will happen if you will it to happen. I feel like I’m coming out on top as we end 2015. Always end on a good note right? Thank you for reading my blog and letting me share a little sparkle with you. Here is a glimpse of the most popular Sparkle is the new Black posts for 2015…

graphics // shoe look book
{Look book cover options}
My two loves – fashion + graphics. I love both equally and love it even more when I can do both at the same time. Last Friday I partnered with couture shoe designer Eleanor Anukam. Her shoes are absolutely gorgeous. My favorite is the Iruoma – I’m obsessed with these shoes! She came to me to design a look book for her shoe line and showcase the 8 styles in her collection. The vision was to create a look book that was MODERN . EDGY. FRESH. I absolutely love doing these type of projects. Here is a glimpse…
Pantone Color of the Year
Earlier this month, Pantone announced the Color of the Year for 2016. 2016 is a special year because two colors were announced – Rose Quartz {13-1520} and Serenity {15-3919}. Pantone explained that the combination echoed a growing trend of challenging traditional perceptions about color association in fashion, art, interior and all types avenues of design. The colors bring a sense of calm and relaxation which seems to be the overall tone for 2016. Pantone started the Color of the year in 2000. Here is a glimpse of the Pantone colors in the last 15 years…
creative spaces
I would die to have an art studio like this. I always need to be in a creative environment while I’m working. Lately, I’ve been trying out new coffee shops. I like changing it up and being inspired in different spaces. It definitely helps my creativity. I’ve been thinking about revamping my work space at home. Here is a glimpse of creative spaces that will inspire…
