NYC Line

I heart graphic design. I’m drawn to all types of graphics. Sometimes when the design is so simple and minimal, it actually makes the biggest statement. Cayla Ferari and John Breznicky were trying to make a statement in their New York apartment.  Cayla, a graphic designer, had designed an illustration of a stripped-down version of an NYC subway map and John loved it so much that they decided to take the illustration and create a large-scale piece of artwork for the wall in their new apartment. Their design was such a hit that they had friends ask them to design other line posters that included San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and D.C. This started the line poster craze and they have added all the major cities to the list.  I actually want to make a statement in my Seattle apartment and I am looking to purchase one of these NYC prints – line or map. Which one should I choose? Here is a glimpse…
