Hello and happy Makeup Monday! Over the weekend I purchased a few beauty items and wanted to share my beauty purchases with you. Most of them were drugstore buys and I love all of them. Lip color is always my weakness. I always leave with a fun new lip color. I can’t help myself.
My five beauty purchases of the weekend…
1. Elf Essential Expert liquid eyeliner. I loved this eyeliner. I can’t believe it was only $2! Unbelievable. It glides on so easily and keeps that thin line without smudging. You have so much control with this liner to create that precise definition.
2. Elf Studio retractable Kabuki brush. A girl loves her brushes. This was a total need and not a want. I didn’t want to carry my beauty blender in my clutch. I wanted something more travel like for when I’m on the go. This retractable Kabuki brush was so perfect. It’s great for a quick face touch up.
3. Milani Eyeshadow. Brown Foil 03. I bought this dark brown color for my brows. I usually go dark brown for my brows instead of black because I feel dark black brows on me look too harsh. The brown gives a softer look. Thought I would change it up from my usual Anastasia brow routine. I found the eye shadow to be good pigment and I love the gold packaging. So chic! I will do a tutorial in the future on my brow process/routine.
4. Loreal Lipcolor. Pink Flamingo #180. Like I said, I have a weakness for lip color and I buy lipstick from anywhere I go. I feel I need all colors. I really love Pink Flamingo. It’s not super intense, which I normally do. It give a nice bright pink, but softer for the day. I also like the fact that the design of the tube is gold too. It looks lovely in the purse.
5. Ben Nye Banana Powder Dome. I will use Ben Nye Banana Powder for ever. It is THE luxury powder. I just recently blogged about how amazing this powder is. Two reasons for the purchase. One I was almost out of my Ben Nye powder and freaking out and Two I wanted to buy the dome container instead. The only bad thing I have to say about Ben Nye powder is that when you get the larger container, the process gets a little messy and you waste a lot of the powder. I like the dome for more control.
