I have been busy with wedding graphics lately. I have another Save the Date for you, but this one combines my two favorites – Fashion + Graphics. {Kaven} found me through my freelance work and had a vision to create a Save the Date invitation with a high fashion edge.  Him and his fiance took several photography looks with a high fashion vibe and the idea was to use these images as a series for their wedding suite. Loved working on this project. They really made my job easy with their amazing photo. Here is a glimpse of the first round of options + the monogram options…

Save the Date Infographic

Hello.  I’ve been working on some amazing projects and have been incredibly busy the last few months. I wanted to take time to share one of the projects I have been working on. I partnered with a couple {Lisa + Jonathan}. They came to me with an idea to create a unique Save the Date. The idea was to create an infographic and make it unique and very special to them.  Everything element of the design was collaborated together – fonts, stats, diagrams – all of it. I loved working on this project. It’s very unique and I wanted to share with you. Here is a glimpse…

2014

Hello. Happy New Year’s Eve Eve. 2014 is almost over.  I would give this year a 7 1/2 out of 10.  That’s not too bad and we can even round-up.  It was a year full of experiences, friendships {good ones too}, love, loss, growth, and strength.  I learned to “be in the moment” and “be present” more. Time is such a valuable thing. I cherish the time with my family and friends and realize that it takes time to heal and grow. I’ve enjoyed sharing a glimpse of my style and life with you. Thank you for reading all the sparkle. A Summer Wedding…

Summer Wedding

On August 21, 2014 my friends David + Sara got married. In previous blogs you can see their Engagement photo shoot + Sara’s Bachelorette Party.  They got married on a perfect Seattle day and even Mount Rainier made a little cameo.  The groomsmen were dressed in shades of gray and the bridesmaids were in hues of blush.  The wedding was absolutely picturesque. Sara looked absolutely stunning.  Everything was perfection. Here is a glimpse of the Sara + David wedding…

Last Fling Before the Ring.

Last Fling Before the RIng

In Lieu of my weekly {Week in Pictures} I decided to dedicate Sunday’s post to my friend {Sara}. Last weekend we celebrated her Bachelorette Party – Last Fling Before the Ring. I’m so very excited for her wedding this month.  Months ago I took photos for her Save the Dates {See blog post }.  She looked so beautiful the night of her bachelorette party. Her dress was sequined and sparkly – she was the perfect bachelorette. Here is a glimpse of our night…

The Geisha Bride

giesha

Who doesn’t like planning parties? I love love love to plan parties.

A friend/coworker recently got engaged. We are so thrilled for her. She is getting married in Japan and having a very traditional Japanese wedding ceremony. A few of us decided that we need to throw her a surprise bridal shower.

The theme of this shower – Geisha! Everything Geisha. Party planning will be commencing soon because we only have a month to plan this fabulous Geisha party. As a freelance graphic designer, I love to do print design and that includes invitations.

I found this photograph that was taken from a fashion show. It’s so perfect for the invite with the blend of East meets West. This Geisha looks fierce and inspires the look and feel for the invitation. The final touch was adding was ombre effect.

Details of the party were removed to keep this a surprise for the bride-to-be.More photos of the Geisha party to come in February.
